In a welcoming celebration of the year of the horse, let's use yoga as a tool to move into this powerful time, full of possibilities. By cultivating ease and openness, we can discover new ways to grow and thrive. Let's share our intentions and experiences within a supportive online community.
This yoga challenge is a convenient way to build motivation and begin the new year with the momentum of positive, creative energy. The commitment of doing three classes is on your own time within one week. It is an independent commitment, you only have yourself to answer to! The Yoga Today website allows a free 30 day trial, so everyone can participate without a financial investment. Also, there will be raffle prizes for participants including one DoTerra Essential oils gift box, one gift certificate to Soaring Sparrow Acupuncture and one 6 month subscription to Yoga Today (see raffle information below).
Anusara Yoga is a lovely form of moving meditation, and the Yoga Today website provides fantastic video classes you can do at home. The teachers are very good at guiding you through poses (asanas) as well as sharing interesting and helpful meditations and perspectives. A variety of classes appeal to all levels, from beginner to advanced students. There are specific classes for this yoga challenge so that we can discuss the classes, share our experiences and ask questions.
For those who wish to be included in the raffle, please take the time to participate in the community aspect of the yoga challenge by: inviting a friend to participate in the challenge, signing up for the Soaring Sparrow Newsletter (monthly publication), and commenting on your experience or your thoughts on the yoga video classes in the comments section of this blog. A good way to invite your friends is by sharing this post on facebook, twitter, etc. or emailing it directly to a friend you think would appreciate it. Thank you for helping to expand Soaring Sparrow's online community!
